  Kolkkali/Koladi,
 
  Listen to some uplifting Mappila music- of the famous Kolkkali/Koladi, intrinsic to the Muslims of Malabar. The participants have no particular attire, but a band of cloth tied around the head is an absolute must. The main instrument is a foot-long pair of sticks held in both hands and struck against another’s sticks, to the accompaniment of songs, in chorus by the players themselves.
