Dr.Peni Kangas is a doctor in alternative medicine and head of eight international companies including the Rebhani conglomerate, Penpar Software Intelligence, Pensul  International, Gold Stream Oil and Lianos Oil Company. 

Oriental culture is a passion for this international businesswoman who is thoroughly well read in almost all Indian classics and philosophy. Inspite of her busy schedule, Dr.Kangas finds time to visit Kerala every year. She was in Thiruvananthapuram recently as part of her sojourn. 

This visit is prompted by her love for Kerala, which she says, is exquisite. Presently settled at Miami in the United States, Dr.Kangas says Kerala closely resembles Miami in climate and natural beauty. The lush green coconut grooves, the unique culture and haunting scenic beauty have lured her to Kerala. The State has immense tourism potential too. The people all over the world should visit Kerala at least once in their lifetime, she says.
