He may be missing a hot cup of espresso or his favourite pizza back home in Italy. But to his delight, Mr. Fabio from Italy found palatable stuff that could make his taste buds happy, and also other things that kept him occupied in Kerala. 

We met Mr. Fabio last January at Hotel Samudra, while he was undergoing a course of ayurvedic oil massage. He was going through the last leg of his first visit to Kerala, and Mr. Fabio, a travel professional from Italy, who had gone through Goa in his earlier visit to India, was totally taken by surprise at what Kerala had in store for him.

In his words, Kerala seems to be one of those ideal places for a relaxed holiday and obviously his favourite ayurvedic oil massage. Speaking on ayurveda, Mr. Fabio was very much appreciative of the ayurveda physician and the well-equipped ayurveda team at Hotel Samudra in Kovalam.

Another interesting aspect, which Fabio emphasized, was the general cleanliness he experienced during his stay in Kerala, which according to him is of great importance, especially to tourists coming from Europe. Mr. Fabio gets so excited at the very mention of ethnic cuisine, and the gentleman from Italy, just ran short of words while expressing his delight about the many seafood delicacies that he tried, including some mouthwatering tuna, prawn and crab dishes. 

Even after going through Goa, which is having some of the renowned beaches in India, Fabio found the beaches in Kerala to be in a different league that exuded a unique charm of its own, and the coastal life in particular.

On his plans for a comeback to Kerala, Mr. Fabio says 'I would like to be back in the same season i.e. December / January to experience the best of Kerala, and this will also keep me away from Italy, which will be pretty hot during the same time of the year.'
