He
missed the first edition of Kerala Travel Mart, held in 2001, but
this time around Mr. Maharaj I S Wahi made sure he didn’t. For
the high-flying President of the Indian Association of Tour Operators
(IATO) President, the experience was well worth it.
Overwhelmed by his first experience of the mega event, held a
couple of months back, in Kochi, the IATO president was all praise
for the efforts that Kerala has taken in tourism. He made an emphatic
appeal to follow the Kerala tourism model that is opening up new
avenues in modern tourism. He also stated that he believed that other
States in India has a lot to learn from Kerala’s commendable
experience in travel and tourism
