Mr. Remi Boinot from France is a master in contemporary arts. Mr.Remi Boinot?s recent art exhibition at the Museum Auditorium was a refreshing experience for the audience, especially students of fine arts in Thiruvananthapuram with whom he held a session on fine arts and its modern avenues.
For Remi, places like Kerala offer a kind of solace that he has not even experienced back home in his native country France. His first encounter with Kerala happened some 10 to 12 years ago in France, while he was attending the world famous Paris Show also known as the Autumn Festival. Here, he came across a Kathakali performance and the rest is history. Remi has been to Kerala a couple of occasions before as a traveler and is very much in love with the backwater stretches and also the tea country of Munnar. Among the many outstanding aspects of Kerala, Remi points out the level of attention given to education in Kerala, when compared to other parts of India or even to some of the countries in Southeast Asia.
Well, Remi?s interest in Kerala is bound to increase as he gets ready sometime next year with another art exhibition, but this time with a topic that is going to surprise his audience in Kerala.
