Though he never became an army general or a horse breeder, two of his early aspirations, this acclaimed ad film maker is an ardent hat collector, a connoisseur of wine and tea, runs his own film production house, scuba diving school and beach resort. In this short interview, the inimitable Prahlad Kakkar talks on Kerala. 

When we caught up with Mr. Kakkar at the first National Boat Show at Kochi, he was all praise for Kerala. According to him, Kerala does not need to take any extra effort to gain popularity or to establish itself as a hot destination anymore. The state is now at a stage where it can easily market its tourism USPs all over the world. 

He felt that the need of the hour is to sustain the trend by keeping a close watch on the global tourism pattern and gauging the pulse of the local populace.
