Are you in love with nature? If yes, Wayanad is a destination in Kerala with which you should never miss a tryst. This month, we have picked up for you a hypnotizing sight from the natural bounty of Wayanad. Banasura Sagar dam, the largest earthen dam in India has also the distinction of being a beautiful picnic spot.

The dam is built across the Karamanthodu, a tributary of river Kabani. The reservoir is dotted by a cluster of small, green islands. A boat trip here, watching the majestic Banasura Hills in the background, will be an experience that you would cherish for years.
