The Arattupuzha pooram

The Arattupuzha pooram presents one of the most wonderful spectacles of the festivals of Kerala. Legend has it that the patron deities of the neighbouring villages ride majestically caparisoned tuskers to arrive in a procession at the Arattupuzha village on the festival day.
