About the Institution
Established in the year 1956 in Thiruvananthapuram by Sri. C. V. Govindan Kutty Nair Gurukkal. A formal training centre for Kalari performance was established in 1975. The centre has been actively engaged in the promotion and propagation of Kalarippayattu since then. Gurukkal has performed all over India and abroad in many countries and conducted workshops and performance tours in Europe, Asia and US.
