Day	Title	Description
1.	CALICUT TO WAYANAD (90 KM 3 HRS)	You will be welcomed at Kozhikode by our company representative. Today, you will set out on a journey to the hills of Wayanad. Remarkably unspoilt, nature puts on a great show leaving you spell bound. Drive up through a number hairpin bends of the famous Thamarassery Pass and e njoy the landscape enroute Wayanad. Take a snap at the Lakkidi view point and spend some time at the Pookode Lake before you check-in to your resort and relax. Sunset at Banasura sagar dam: An awesome setting to spend your evening and view the sunset. The dam reservoir is dotted with tiny islands with the majestic Banasura hill in the background. Relax for the night in your resort.
2.	EXPLORE WAYANAD	This morning head in the direction of Wayanad wildlife sanctuary. Today you will have get drenched in the irupu waterfalls and have some really thrilling wildlife experiences. At the Irupu falls: a breath-taking sight Cross the border into Karnataka and head toward the breath-taking irupu waterfalls. At the base there is a temple surrounded by paddy fields from where you climb up to the falls through natural forest. Get drenched here. Tholpetty Jeep safari: experience Wayanad wildlife Travel through marshy tracks into the heart of the forest where the trained eyes of spotters will help you see wild peacocks, squirrels, groups of spotted deers, wild monkeys and elephants in the wild. Get lucky to spot some of the big cats too! Camp Fire: Set the night ablaze with song and dance Set up a campfire and enjoy a nice party in the nice chill of the Wayanad jungles. Also seek opportunities to see wildlife in the night. Relax for the night at your resort.
3.	EXPLORE PAKSHIPATHALAM & THIRUNELLY TEMPLE	Today you will go for a guided trek to experience one of the best forest trails in Wayanad. Pakshipathalam trek: Enigmatic caves, beautiful landscapes and more The trek of around 8 hours starts as early as 7 am at Thirunelly temple, the starting point of the trail. With thick forests, crystal clear rivulets, rolling hills in the back set of the cloudy sky, endless grasslands and the challenging caving through boulders this trek will be a trip to remember. Your destination is a deep rock cave systems that is the habitat for a variety of birds. Get back to base before evening. At the legendary temple at Thirunelly This ancient Vishnu temple is a great attraction because of its unique location in the centre of a dense forest and is surrounded by mountains on all four sides. It is right at the base of your trek. Relax at your resort for the night.
4.	DEPARTURE FROM CALICUT	Today is the last day of your short break. Enjoy a splendid breakfast at your resort and prepare for trip back home. Drop back at Kozhikode rail station in the afternoon bidding farewell to god’s own country with memories to last for a life time.
