Kattappurathu is an ancient bungalow facing the Main Central Road, in the quaint little village of Ezhinjillam (colloquially known as Idinjillam) situated on the Main Central Road between Thiruvalla in Pathanamthitta District and Changanacherry in Kottayam District overlooking the paddy fields of Kuttanad in the Central Travancore region of Kerala. To our west lie the plains and paddy fields of Kuttanad with its interweaving backwaters and rivers. We have two A/C Bedrooms with attached dressing rooms and private bath rooms. This apartment has a living room, dining room, a kitchen, a spacious balcony, big staircase room and private entry. The house is well connected by road & rail and has vast parking area. It is suitable for families coming to this part of Kerala. “One of the most amazing, cleanest and neatest home away from home you could ever hope to stay in Kerala. I stayed with my family (4 pax) and booked the entire veedu (top floor). There were thoughtful touches everywhere in every room you look. There was great wifi for any last minute bookings and internet banking I had to make. The home inside is a blend of old Syrian Christian historical home thoughtfully upgraded for modern living. There is a separate entrance for the guest home should the guest want it. The two bedrooms are massive with separate walk-in change rooms and privies. A very nicely appointed, modern and clean kitchen with all modern amenities (washing machine, water purifier, microwave, coffee machine, fridge crockery) were available for us. There equally spacious and well appointed dining and living rooms........"
