India is all set to roll out its revolutionary ‘One Nation, One Tax’ system, the Goods and Services Tax (GST), on July 1, 2017. The GST will ensure that a uniform tax rate is followed across the states of India and will replace all the multiple taxes prevalent until now.
In order to ensure the smooth migration into the new tax system and help out with the queries arising during this scenario, special GST cells have been set.

GST will levy a single tax on goods and services and prevent the cascading of taxes thereby introducing a single tax rate in the entire country. The move is expected to increase the ease of doing business.
