The mouth-watering dish tastes best when accompanied by rice or chappathi. We bring you the recipe Kozhi Peralan so that you can prepare this scrumptious dish at home.

Ingredients
Chicken (broiler) - 1
Red chillies - 10
Pepper corns - 5-6
Cinnamon, Cloves, Fennel & Cardamom - 3 g
Garlic - 1 pod
Ginger - 2.5 cm piece
Salt - to taste
Vinegar - 1 tsp.
Onion - 200 g
Tomato - 2 medium size
Curry leaves - 1 sprig

Method of Preparation
Clean and joint the chicken. Grind together all the spices with salt, curry leaves and vinegar. Slice onion and chop tomato roughly. Marinate the chicken with half of the ground spices. Keep aside for 15-20 minutes. Heat oil in a Kadai, sauté sliced onion to light brown colour. Add remaining ground spices to the pan. Add chopped tomato, sauté for a few minutes before adding the chicken. Cover and cook till chicken is tender. Check for seasoning. Remove from fire and serve with Indian bread.
