Terms and Conditions
- There is no registration fee for submitting proposals/entries.
- Entries will be accepted online only. The online link will be disconnected at 11.59 PM on the last date of submission of awards. Hard copies of documents shall be submitted within seven working days on the disconnection of link after which hard copies shall not be accepted.
- Receipt of online submission generated automatically shall be attached with the filled application form and documents. Applications
found without online receipt shall be rejected.
- Any entity which satisfies the eligibility criteria may submit entries under the respective category (ies).
- Entry can be submitted in more than one category.
- In a category, only one entry of a proposal shall be entertained. If more than one entry of a particular proposal is found in a
category, the latest entry will be considered for evaluation, remaining entries will be discarded. G.O.(Rt)No.325/2018/TSM File No.TOUR-B2/276/2018-TOUR
- Proposals should be comprehensive and cover the areas mentioned in criteria for the award category. Incomplete proposals
not complying with the directions/guidelines detailed herein would not be considered.
- Preliminary Scrutiny Committee & Govt. Level Evaluation Committee: All the entries will be preliminary scrutinised
by preliminary committee constituted by govt for each award category with different persons, committee shall be evaluating
the applications and suggesting giving marks for each entry and recommend to Govt level evaluation committee which will
select the winners of the award as per the selection process and evaluation criteria.
- The decision of the evaluation Committee will be final and binding on all participants. No appeals or objections shall be entertained against the decision of the evaluation Committee. The proceeding of the screening Committee shall be confidential till the declaration of the awards.
- Period for consideration for awards will be the financial year for which awards are called, for example if the award period is 2016-17 then period for consideration will be 1st April 2016-31st March 2017.
- Formula for giving the marks: While giving the marks, screening committee will apply the formula in which the highest in each category will get the full marks and others will get in proportion to their performance in that specific criteria, for example, in the category of best hotel, in the highest turn over criteria maximum entry is 10 crore then 10 crore will be made base and full marks (imagine 10 marks) will be allotted and others will be given marks in the same proportion they are less than 10 crore and therefore turn over entry for 3.67 crore will get 3.67 marks and so on.
- It will be at the discretion of the evaluation Committee to select more than one winner in each category if the proposals are found suitable. Similarly, if no suitable nominations are found, awards may not be given in any category.
- Department of Tourism, Govt of Kerala reserves the rights to make any changes in the entire process at any point of time.

- The additional supporting documents (if asked for) should to be sent through e-mail at awards@keralatourism.org or be submitted in hard copy at the address notified on or before due date of submission.
- In case of any challenges / representations against the award process, decision of the Secretary,Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala shall be final and binding on all.
