This is a 175-year-old synagogue built by the Jews who settled at Chendamangalam nearly two centuries ago. The synagogue combines both traditional Kerala and western styles of architecture. The synagogue has a majestic altar with intricate artwork. The ceiling of its high roof has bright chequered patterns on it.
