The temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is located in a beautiful valley beneath a hill called Brahmagiri in the reserve forest. Around thirty granite columns and granite paved floor makes the temple an architectural wonder. A mountain spring called Papanasini (literally means destroyer of sins) flows nearby. Dipping in the stream is said to absolve one of all the sins.
