Irachilpara waterfalls is located at Kovilkadavu, on the way to Kanthalloor from Marayoor in Idukki district of Kerala. It is located upstream of Thoovanam falls. The place is best for rejuvenation therapy.
11.30 am to 1.00 pm
Thoovanam Waterfalls, the 25-meter tall, is located on Pambar River and best accessed by a hike through the woods of Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary.
1.00 pm to 2.00 pm
2.00 pm to 5.00 pm
Kanthalloor Waterfalls is situated in the Kanthalloor village of Idukki district. You can take a dip in the cool pool below here. There is a short downhill that you have to take in order to reach the falls from the road, for about 500 metres. It is a narrow path filled with boulders and mud. Best time to visit Kanthalloor waterfall is during monsoon season as you can see the waterfall at its fullest. It is also not advisable to be here after 5 pm.
