Trekking Package: Ramakkalmedu and  Nalumala
Ramakkalmedu is a hill station in Idukki district, Kerala. It is about 3,500 ft above sea level. Known for strong winds (around 30-35 km/h), wind farms, panoramic views of neighbouring Tamil Nadu villages & valleys. Duration: 3-4 / 2 Nights Level: Moderate trek + village stay + nature walk Ideal Season: September to February (cooler, clear skies)

Day 1

Arrival & Acclimatization:
Depart from your base (e.g. Thiruvananthapuram / nearest city) early morning.
Arrive at Ramakkalmedu – check in at homestay or cottage.
Rest & lunch:
Evening: short walk around the local villages, visit viewpoints (Kuravan & Kurathi statue, wind farms) to get familiar with altitude & terrain.

Day 2

Ramakkalmedu Trek
Early morning: breakfast.
Start trek from Ramakkalmedu Junction (or a base point) through grasslands, meadows, rocky and open terrain toward summit view points. Approx 3-4 km trek one way. 
Lunch at top / packed picnic.
After lunch, descend, explore the grape gardens and vegetable farms and Surali falls in Tamil Nadu 
Evening: local dinner, campfire.

Day 3

Nalumala Trek (4 km)
Early morning departure to Nalumala area. To enjoy the nature 
Lunch & Return
