Itinerary

Day	Title	Description
1.	Bekal - Arrival	Arrive at Manglore International Airport. Please clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you do not have goods to be declared to customs.Focuz executive waiting at the arrival with name placard will assist you with transfer and check in at the hotel. Evening you can enjoy the beautiful beach destinations in Kerala. Bekal is home to one of the biggest and well maintained forts in Kerala. Overnight stay in Bekal. (Meals not included)
2.	Bekal Sight Seeing	Morning after breakfast a village tour of Bekal through sprawling paddy fields, coconut farms, banana plantations…everything having a unique appeal to it. Even the hot snacks served in the local tea shops are quiet different from the ones in other parts of Kerala. A coastal village near Bekal is our first halt where to meet local fisherman. Follow him and he will show you the intimate bonding the fishing folks of this village have with the sea and how they make a living out of this profession. Madikai is the next spot where we can see a Potter with his family crafting new shapes in clay. Pottery is the traditional job of this family. Kumaran’s wife Karthyani turns the pottery wheel, while Kumaran gracefully shapes the clay into beautiful pots. From the world of pots, moving on to meet Krishnan who climbs coconut trees to collect fresh toddy. Krishnan has eight coconut trees of his own from which he makes 25 liters of toddy on a daily basis. Krishnan will make you familiar with the modus operandi of toddy tapping. Thokkanam Motta is the next halt where we can meet Kallalan Mooppan, the tribal leader of Adiyan tribe, and his screw pine weaving team.
3.	Bekal sight seeing	Starting the day with a visit to Valiyaparamba Backwaters, a region of great natural beauty. It is close to the Malabar mangrove trail and also home to migratory birds seen around the tiny islands in Valiyaparamba Backwaters. Keep an eye out for them while enjoying the boat ride. You can also bathe in the Valiyaparamba Backwaters. A dip in the cool waters of Valiyaparamba Backwaters will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated in body and mind.
4.	Bekal Departure	Morning after breakfast checkout from houseboat.Day free for personel activities and shopping we will drop you at airport with sweet memories of kerala
