About the Institution
Viswa Kala Kendra was established in 1963 by Guru Gopinath and is now affiliated to Kerala Sangeeta Nataka Academy. Though it was started in purpose to give training in Kerala Nadanam and vocal music, later the centre has restricted its training in Music only. The classes for Kerala nadanam are now given in the Guru Gopinath Natana Gramam, which is a collaborative venture of Viswa Kala Kendra. The centre conducts special music classes for adults too.
