Special New Year campaign in Malls
Kerala Tourism is known for being a leader on the path of innovation and engagement. The destination has been presented in various ways to the travellers.
Recently, we went for another novel initiative to inspire travellers to Kerala for celebrating the New Year. And we did it in style. Some of the popular malls in the metros of India witnessed Flash Mob (a group of dancers that suddenly break into a formation) by Kerala Tourism that presented the destination as a perfect alternative for a tranquil start to New Year by staying away from the hustle and bustle of the metros.
The Flash Mob performed a dance-drama in the malls of metro cities of Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai. The Flash Mob began with the hubbub in the metros and then switching to the serenity of Kerala, gracefully conveyed through performers of Kathakali and Mohiniyattam.
The performances led to enthusiastic queries. Numerous leaflets were distributed highlighting the advantages of Kerala as a New Year destination. Two digital contests were held, encouraging people to take pictures against the Kerala backdrop or take a video / photograph of the dancers and upload it on Facebook or YouTube. The uploaded video/image with maximum likes will win exciting prizes.
