We are happy to inform you that, as part of international marketing, Kerala Tourism is planning to organize /participate in workshops/ fairs as scheduled below in April & May 2016 subject to approval of Government of Kerala.

• The space rent share for BITE-2016 would be intimated to you in due course.
• The accredited tour operators of Kerala Tourism will be eligible for a discount equivalent to the most approximate value of Rs 25,000/- on the stand rent for trade fairs and for a 10% discount on the total participation fee for the workshops.
• Participation fee package for workshops
1. Single show : Rs.15,000/-
2. Two Shows :Rs.30,000/-
3. Three Shows : Rs.40,000/-
4. Four Shows : Rs.50,000/-

Registration procedure

Eligibility

1. All tour operators accredited by the Department of Tourism, Kerala.
2. All homestays & serviced villas approved by the Department of Tourism, Kerala.
3. All Ayurveda Centres classified by the Department of Tourism, Kerala.
4. Hotels/Resorts within Kerala classified by Government of India.
5. Hotels/Resorts within Kerala who are KTM members.

Registration will be online.

General Conditions

• Eligible trade partners can register online before the deadline.
• 40% of the total tables for each workshop/fair will be reserved for accredited tour operators of Kerala Tourism.
• Space will be allotted on a first come first served basis and based on seat availability and as per reservation criteria.

A.International Road shows

• 50 % (Fifty Percent) of the participation fee for the workshops have to be made in advance while registering online as per the package given above as Demand Draft in the name of the Director, Department of Tourism, Kerala and the DD details have to be shown while registering online.
• Registrations for workshops without DD details will not be accepted.
• The DDs towards the advance amounts should reach the following address within five days from the date of registration. Please contact Mr. Prasanth T.V., for any help or assistance in this regard.
• Invoices will be sent only to those trade partners who have registered online and has remitted advances and based on the invoice, balance payment has to be paid in the given time limit.
• Participation in road shows will be allowed only after complete payment is received as per the invoice amount.
• The participation fee for the workshops is non-refundable in normal conditions.
• If the department of tourism cancels any of the workshops, proportionate amount will be refunded based on suitable calculations.
• For those registrants whose registration is rejected or not accepted after making advance or full payment will be refunded in full.
• Cheques will not be accepted in any case.

B.International Fairs

• A confirmation mail will be given from this office to the registered trade who is eligible for participation in each fair based on the space availability and as per reservation criteria and they will have to reconfirm their participation by e-mail within the stipulated time for sending the invoice
• If any trade who gets confirmation mail withdraws from participation after reconfirmation, without proper approval from this office, they shall not be allowed to participate in any fair along with Kerala Tourism in future.
• The amount towards space rent shall be remitted by way of DD or bank transfer in appropriate foreign currency as per the instructions in the invoice from this office
• Participation in fairs will be allowed only after the receipt of complete payment towards space rent.
