Malayattoor Perunnal

Malayattoor St. Thomas Church every year bears witness to an amazing festival named Malayattoor Perunnal. Conducted in April, Malayattoor Perunnal or the Malayattoor Feast, locally known as Puthunjayar falls on the Sunday after Easter. 

Every year thousands of devotees are immersed in prayers carry wooden crosses of different sizes and climb up the hill. The whole village gets decked up and ready itself to welcome the pilgrims
