Naragathara, a remote village located some 8 km from Kavanattinkara Boat Terminal, is the place where the snake boat race trials are conducted during the festival season in the Malayalam month, Chingam. Winding narrow canals, vast stretch of paddy fields, vegetable farms, migratory and common birds are the other attractions here.
