Dedicated to goddess Chamundi, the Karikkakom Sree Chamundi Devi Temple, popularly known as Karikkakom Devi Temple is a Hindu temple located in the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The temple, which is around 600 years old has a Panchaloha idol of the goddess Karikkakathamma - an incarnation of Chamundi. Here, Chamundi Devi is worshipped in three different forms: Maha Chamundi, Raktha Chamundi, and Bala Chamundi. There are various festivals celebrated each year in this temple. Special rituals are also performed during these occasions.
