Kaliyattakavu Bhagavathi Temple, Malappuram; belongs to the Vili Velli Nair family. The temple is open for 57 days (as two phases - the second phase is on Mandala Pooja time) in a year and the primary deity worshipped here is the goddess Ammancherry Bhagavathi. While virtuous rituals are performed inside the sanctum sanctorum, vigorous rituals associated with strength or Shakti are performed outside.
