Bindu Menon Mannil

Bindhu Menon, scholar of cinema and cultural studies, with a PhD from the School of Arts & Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Before joining the University, she taught at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi (2005–2020). Her doctoral work was supported by several prestigious fellowships, including the Fulbright and UGC JRF. She held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Victoria (Canada), Indian Institute of Advanced Studies (Shimla), and the International Institute of Asian Studies (Leiden). Her commitment to interdisciplinary media education shapes both my teaching and research. She also serve on the editorial board of Studies in South Asian Film and Media and the advisory board of the Cinema and Media Cultures in the Middle East series
