Sree Vallarkulangara Bhagavathy Kottam is one of the ancient and prominent temples of Veluthedathu community. The deity is believed to have come atop on the palm leaf umbrella of Mundayattu Kurup from Manakulangara to the present seat of Kunjimangalam Thekkumbadu Kottam as Sree Vallarkulangara Bhagavathy. The temple which had been in the state of dilapidation got renovated in the year 1998 with all the ritualistic practices. The Theyyam festival will start at 6pm on the first day and will end on 5.00 pm the next day.
