This is the Devasthanam of a people who came from the north. The temple is to the east of Patel Road about 1.5km past the Puthiyatheru Kattaamballi road, off Taliparamba, on the National Highway. The temple has been renovated with care and is maintained well. The old trees surrounding the Devasthanam have been preserved adding to the beauty of the Kavu.
