This Devaswom temple, which offers daily worship to its visitors, is surrounded by a Kavu or garden with thickly grown trees and shrubs. The Bhagavathy is said to have come with the lady Pongilat Amma who had gone to watch the Theyyam at Maadayi Kavu. Thidambu is celebrated every year on the festival date. The Kavu is situated at the Moosarikkodu Road on the Payyanur College - Hanumarambalam Road near the Kandam Kulangara Library.
