Dermal Puthiya Bhagavathy Temple

Legend has it that the Devi came along with the head of the family to this Kavu. All castes and religions are allowed to enter and worship in this temple. The temple is governed by a trust and the festival rituals have been codified for a decade and a half. The temple is situated at the Pilathara bus stop on the Pilathara - Mathamangalam road.
