Once a dilapidated structure located in the middle of an overgrown jungle, this temple, known to have been the cattle pen where cows intended for sacrificial rites were kept, has now been renovated to a beautiful place. The temple can be reached if you catch the bus to the Maathil route from Kannur via Payyanur - Aalakkadu and Korom. After disembarking, travelers will have to go down quite a few steps to reach the temple.
