This temple is known for the Bali Theyyam brought here by the ancestors from Pinarayi Venduttayi. The Naga installation here is also equally cherished. The ancient high altar here has been well preserved. Each year Theyyams such as Bali, Cheriya Bhagavathy, Valiya Bhagavathy, Gulikan and Kuttichathan are staged. Two Devasthanams or deities of Ainkudi Kammalanmars are also located close by.
