Chammaradethu Devi Temple

Legend has it that this is the place where Kodungalloor Amma came by a sailboat to pacify herself after killing Daarika. She alighted at Thekkechira. The place was blessed by Ixora flower beds. She settled down at Chammaradethu. You can reach the temple via the Parapram road leading from Moonnu Periya down the Koothuparamba road. The temple is built in the conventional style and stands apart from the surrounding residential area.
