This is a Kavu where the Kaliyattam performed on the premises each year is based on the Epic of Ramayana. The temple is believed to have been built by the sage Parasurama and during the festival season the entire village observes vegetarianism. A wide variety of Theyyams are performed here. The artists are from the Peruvannan and Munnoottan communities. Ooralans are bestowed with the status of fatherhood, Achan.
