This Devasthanam is an example of how divine worship stands side by side with modern influences. This Madappura is opposite the Pazhayangadi Railway station and yet stands with its traditional uniqueness adjacent to a busy railway compound. The Theyyams are Thiruvappana and Muthappan and they are danced every year. Other Theyyam offerings are conducted here according to the prayers of devotees.
