Itinerary

Day	Title	Description
1.	KOCHI & CHERAI (30 KM 45 MTS)	Your honeymoon starts at Kochi, one of the finest natural harbours and the oldest European settlement in India. Cherai is a clean beach on the outskirts of the city. On arrival you will be met by our representative who will guide you to your resort . Today evening relax at the beach enjoying the sunset. The beach also features a long walkway with mask lamps which make it enjoyable during the night.Return to your hotel and relax for the night.
2.	MUNNAR (140 KM, 4.30 HOURS)	Today, travel to the lush dramatic Munnar hills. Stop to take a snap of the amazing vistas and views near Attukal and Cheeyapara waterfalls on your way here. Check-in to your resort and relax for a while after the drive. Visit the Tea Museum: Witness the Art of Tea Processing.The afternoon would be a great time to visit the tea museum . The evening is free for you to go shopping in Munnar town or spending time in the resort. Relax for the evening at your resort.
3.	MUNNAR	This morning set out to explore other attractions in Munnar like Rajamala (national park), the dam and echo point.Trek along the Eravikulam national park: Meet up with friendly Niligiri Tahrs. Get on one of the government operated mini-buses and take a mild trek to amazing vantage points along with lots of endangered Niligiri Tahrs. As the day unfolds take a few snaps at photo point before reaching Mattupetty dam. If nothing else, scream at the top of your voice at echo point and hear your voice resounding through the hills.Head back to your resort and enjoy an intimate candle light dining experience.
4.	THEKKADY(120 KM, 3 HRS)	Enjoy your breakfast at Munnar and by 9 am get on a journey to Thekkady, home one of the best managed wildlife reserves in India. Keralan spice tours are immensely educative experiences. For some, it is the lingering aroma of cloves, cinnamon, for others, it is about joy of plucking spices straight of the plant. Elephant Safari: Take a ride on top of a friendly elephant (Optional) The evening cultural programmes: Kathakali and Kalaripayattu demonstrations are recommended experiences at Thekkady. Relax for the night at your resort/hotel.
5.	ISLAND RESORT IN KUMARAKOM (140 KM, 3.45 HRS)	This morning your journey takes you through scenic landscapes of spice gardens and tea to finally reach the backwater town of Kumarakom. It is an idyllic village set in a maze of complex lush waterways marked by its gentle pace of life. Take it slow: A day of relaxation and ayurveda in a backwater heritage resort Check into your heritage resort, totally recreated from traditional Kerala style homes. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the scenic environs by the lake side. Relax for the day at Kumarakom.
6.	ON A HOUSEBOAT IN ALLEPPEY (30 KM 1 HRS)	Today enjoy a late breakfast and head to the boarding point of your houseboat in the backwater town of Alleppey. The ‘Venice of the East’ as it is called supports a vibrant village life along the shorelines with paddy fields and palms.On board a ‘Kettuvallom’: A glimpse of backwater life After traditional lunch on your private houseboat, the cruise will take you through splendid waterways of narrow canals. You will get opportunities to explore village life and the country side. As we drift along you will be amazed by the life by the waterside and witness a spectacular sunset. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
7.	DEPARTURE FROM KOCHI	Today is the last day of your honeymoon tour. Enjoy a splendid breakfast. Check out from your houseboat and head to Kochi. If you are interested in picking up some Kerala souvenirs we will take you to some of the good handicraft shops around town. Drop back at Airport in the afternoon bidding farewell to god’s own country with memories to last for a life time.
