Lift the Spirits

A visit to the backwaters of Kerala is incomplete without tasting toddy, the most natural beverage in the state. On request, tourists can see the process of toddy tapping as the climber skilfully climb the long swaying palms and extract the sap in earthen pots.

The intoxicating taste of toddy is better experienced with the lip-smacking dishes served in the toddy shops in Kerala.
