Zoo in Thrissur


At the heart of Thrissur lies its famous Zoo, with a legacy and heritage that dates all the way back to 1885. Its popularity was cemented by the constant additions of rare species. Open on all days except Mondays, one is instantly enamoured by the exotic spectacles here. From the Lion-Tailed Macaque, Sloth Bear, species of birds and deer to huge King Cobras, Pythons and Vipers, one will never be bored at this wonderful locale. Go in relaxed as the animals love interacting with all the visitors. Colourful plaques inform you about the recent developments at this pristine establishment.
