Preserving the harvest

A farm does not end when something is picked. There is sorting, cleaning, drying and plenty of work in between. At Dream Acres in Koodaranji, women work with the farm’s produce, turning a fresh harvest into something that can be stored, used or sold. It is the less glamorous, very real work of farm life - and an essential part of bringing the harvest all the way from the field to its final use.
