The coracle way

Round, shallow and wonderfully unusual, the coracle looks nothing like the boats usually associated with Kerala’s backwaters. This traditional watercraft, also known as 'Kuttavanchi' sits low on the water as it moves through Kumbalangi’s waterways. It is a rather charming way to see the village from a completely different angle.
