Iringole Bhagavathy Temple

Iringole Bhagavathy temple, situated 2 kms from Perumbavoor, Ernakulam, is one of the 108 Durga temples in the state. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga, who according to a legend, once took the form of a baby girl to protect Lord Krishna from his evil uncle, Kamsa. The temple is located deep in the forest, spread over 50 acres, and has a mystical air about it.
