Thevalakkattu Sree Dhanwanthiri temple situated at Kulasekharamangalam, Kottayam, is dedicated to Lord Dhanwanthiri Moorthy, who is worshipped as the God of Ayurveda. The 400-year-old temple is situated on the banks of the Muvattupuzha River. The temple is one of the important religious places in Kerala as it is quite rare to find Sree Dhanwanthiri as the presiding deity anywhere else.
