How to reach Kerala by Road

 

Kerala can be easily accessed by road. Major roads from Kerala are the ones starting from Thiruvananthapuram and going through Nagercoil to Madurai; from Thiruvananthapuram via Alappuzha, Ernakulam to Thrissur; from Thiruvananthapuram via Kottayam to Thrissur; from Kottayam via Thekkady to Munnar; from Kochi to Munnar; from Kottayam to Munnar; from Thrissur to Coimbatore; from Thrissur via Kozhikode, Kannur to Mangalore and from Thrissur via Wayanad, Mysore to Bangalore.

Kerala can also be easily accessed from the neighboring states. From Mangalore, Mysore and Bangalore in the neighbouring State of Karnataka; from Coimbatore, Chennai, Madurai and Nagercoil in the neighbouring State of Tamil Nadu, there are bus services to major towns and cities in Kerala. One can also board the several luxury buses that operate from Kerala during the nighttime that are available from places like Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kannur.
