Do you know why?  It is the place where you can feel the history of Kerala some 300 years back at the Bekal Fort. Largest and best-preserved fort in the whole of Kerala, Bekal fort is a giant keyhole shaped fort which offers superb view of the Arabian Sea from its tall observation towers, which were occupied by huge cannons, couple of centuries ago.
