Feast at Edathua Church

Celebrated with much pomp and grandeur, the Edathua Perunnal is the annual feast of the St. George's Church at Alappuzha. Devotees from far and wide swarm the premises of the church to attend this magnificent festival. One of the highlights of the perunnal (festival) is the procession of the statue of the Saint that is taken out to be placed on the dais in the centre of the Basilica. Cultural performances are held on all days. We provide here the video of this grand event.
