Ramassery is a name famous among food lovers, courtesy to its unique 'Idlis'. This quaint village lying about 8 km from Palakkad, Ramassery is known for its exceptional Idlis (steamed rice cake) that are different in size, shape, and taste from the common variety. Almost shaped like a Dosa, these round and flat idlis are soft and delicious that has attracted epicures from wide where. Ramassery Idli Kada (Sree Saraswathy Tea Stall) is the best place to have Ramassery Idli and is served with sambar and coconut chutney.

The Ramassery Idli Kada, located on Palakkad – Pollachi Road, is about 14 km away from Palakkad Junction Railway Station.
