Located in the dense, pristine, luxuriant forests of the Western Ghats, Sabarimala is one of the most famous pilgrim centres in India. Dedicated to Lord Ayyappa, the temple is located in the Sabari Hills, towards the east of Pathanamthitta district.

The Sabarimala Temple can be reached only through a 5km trek through the forests. It is visited by thousands of devotees each year. Here, all differences including caste and creed are set aside and the only thing that matters is the blessing of Lord Ayyappa.
