Kerala's adventure tourism gets a boost with the launch of 'Aventura'-the state's first government-sponsored surfing school at Gotheeswaram Beach, Beypore. Managed by the Youth Welfare Multipurpose Society and supported by the Kerala Responsible Tourism Mission, District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), and Kerala Adventure Tourism Society, this initiative is set to transform Beypore into a surfing hotspot.

With  internationally certified trainers, including members from local fishing communities trained under a three-month program, Aventura welcomes both tourists and aspiring surfers. As surfing gains popularity across Kerala, this initiative strengthens the state's reputation as a prime destination for sports tourism.
