The festival of Onam is celebrated with much grandeur across the State of Kerala. The ten days of festivities during Onam is enjoyed to the hilt by travellers as well as natives.
During the ten days of Onam, the precincts of the Thrikkakara Temple near Kochi, one among the few temples dedicated to Vamana, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, bears witness to a high-spirited festival- the Thiruvonamahotsavam.
